This was a road trip around California, with an excursion into Nevada to experience Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.

We flew from London Gatwick to Los Angeles with Norwegian. We have the fortunate / unfortunate experience of a one seat upgrade to premium. Obviously, I offered the upgrade to Bridget, but she declined and offered it to me :-)

We spent the first couple of days in Santa Monica. Heavily jet lagged the first night we visited the boardwalk / pier, had a meal and headed back to out hotel.
