Early Summer getaway to Lisbon Portugal

A long awaited long weekend in Lisbon, Portugal. We arrive on Thursday Evening at 20:10, flying from London Stansted airport. We have an AirBnb booked for 4 nights close to the centre of town. We plan to explore all the main sights, experience the Lisboa culture and of course taste the delightful food of Lisbon. We depart Lisbon airport at 21:00 for our return flight to Stansted.

Holiday Schedule

Thursday 1st June

Arrived late on Thursday night due to late departure from Stansted . Had slight mix up with the passport queue, eventually arrived at the airbnb at about 22:30. Had a lentil Veggie Burger at Hamburgueria do Barrio, then took a walk to Jardim Failho de Almeida.

Friday 2nd June

Slept really well and tool a walked to Seagull Method to get Coffee and Croissants. Had breakfast on the terrace at the apartment. Set of for the first walkabout and after 5 minutes Bridget had a trapped wind episode. We returned to the apartment to allow the episode to pass.

We set off around mid day and headed for EmbiaXada , the trendy fashion boutique in a rather funky old building. We spent about half an hour there before heading to Tapisco for a small tapas snack lunch and a glass of wine.
